The initial impression of the Flixtor movie is that it truly lives up to the excitement surrounding it. They've somehow expanded this franchise even further than before. The film is packed with fan service, and as a Sonic enthusiast, I appreciate how the story unfolds, along with the treatment of the characters, visuals, and music.

Sonic

The human characters, Tom and Maddie, are probably the least essential part of the film. They mainly serve to advance the plot, but they aren't bad characters. I don't mind them; they just don't get much screen time. However, that's fine since we watch these films to see Sonic and his friends.

Jim Carrey once again demonstrates why he is the ideal choice for Doctor Eggman. He even takes on two roles in this film, which adds to the enjoyment. His energy in this role is palpable, and it's clear he loves playing it. This marks his third time reprising this character, and it's great to see he still has it after all these years.

Sonic

Keanu Reeves as the voice of Shadow is another fantastic casting decision. He captures Shadow's complex nature and tragic backstory beautifully, conveying deep emotion in his performance. Honestly, if Sega decided to cast these actors for the next Sonic game, I wouldn't mind at all. The movie performances are just that impressive. Wanna know when will Sonic 3 be on streaming? Know here.

The story is well-crafted and evokes the emotions you expect from this type of narrative. Sonic feels more like his game counterpart in this film than in any previous adaptation. It's a great experience for Sonic fans and families looking for weekend entertainment.
